is it ok to use large black ants for a gel ant farm? or do i have to use the red harvester ants? what is the difference? if i have to use the red ones, what should i use to attract only red harvester ants?
and do i need a queen? the queen sounds kinds tough to take care of, and what am i going to do with the thousands of eggs that might hatch? its not for a school projects, i just want something to top my desk! thanx!

I put some ants this sized —in my ant farmwith some egss that they had and its been an hour now and they are just sitting or just walking around the eggs and moivng around. Should i threw some food in the ant farm gel or what are they doing?

I also want to have the queen lay eggs what else do i need for that?

I feed the Daphnia with yeast stained with congo red. The result? You’ll be the judge.
